Welcome to Team 6A and Earth Science! I moved to Copperhill, Tennessee from Fayette County this summer and am so excited to be part of the Rebel family! I have been teaching science for 29 years. I received my undergraduate and masters degrees from Georgia State University. My husband of 24 years and I have two children - our daughter is a 5th year architecture student at Kennesaw State University and our son plans to enter the U.S. Air Force in the fall. I am a science nerd at heart and have a huge passion for how our wonderful planet is constantly changing. I hope my enthusiasm for science is contagious and that my students will share that with me!

- Welcome to 6A reading! I am a native of Fannin County, a graduate of Fannin County High School and have been teaching at Fannin County Middle School for twelve years after teaching at Union County Middle School for sixteen years. I received my undergraduate degree from University of Georgia, my masters degree from Piedmont College and my Curriculum and Instruction specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial. I live in a household dominated by teacher talk since my husband of 30 years teaches 8th grade math at Copper Basin High School. :)
- I am excited to instruct 6A reading this year. Reading well is a necessary skill, but can also be a joy that takes the reader on journeys they could not otherwise travel. I hope all students this year continue their love for reading or even discover that love if they have not already!
